Experience the deep spiritual significance of this mystical holiday while we ceremoniously eat our fruits and drink our cups of wine.  Learn about Kabbalah and experience an authentic Tu b’Shvat Seder.  Enjoy live music of Machaya Klezmer Band, a leading Klezmer ensemble.  Learn the basic concepts of Kabbalah and experience an authentic kabbalistic ritual modeled on the Passover Seder developed by the 16th century kabbalists led by Isaac Luria.

To participate in the Seder (from home or elsewhere) start with a bottle of white wine (or white grape juice) and a bottle of red wine (or regular grape juice).  We do a lot of meditative tasting and drink three full glasses of wine.  No need to worry about driving home!

Then also bring a variety of fruits that you can find in the supermarket in three categories:

  • Fruit with inedible shells or peels (such as orange, pomegranate, banana, nuts coconut, etc.)
  • Fruit with inedible cores (such as peach, plum, avocado, apple, etc.)
  • Fruit that is totally edible (such as berries, fig, date, pomegranate, olive, grape or raisin, pear, etc.)

No knowledge of Kabbalah required!
