(24W6) Small Town Jewish Life (6 March 2024)

March 6th, 2024, 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm

The recording of this class is at https://youtu.be/Cn-9DveAyG0.

The Center for Small Town Jewish Life at Colby College grew out of a belief that small Jewish communities are stronger when they work together. Started as a partnership between Colby College Hillel and Beth Israel Congregation in Waterville, Maine, the Center has grown to serve the entire Maine Jewish community with a Fall Shabbaton and Spring Conference as well as children’s programing and training for lay leaders. The Center works with remote communities around the United States to empower their leaders to create vibrant, diverse, and socially equitable communities. Rabbi Asch will share stories of the Center and how we work with small communities across the country.
